What Will We Do When The Oil Runs Out?

Written by Linda Mains

I never thought while I was growing up, that driving down my street would somehow one day end my society as a whole. Which would also one day, make all of us wind up living off of borrowed time, regarding the Worlds energy crises.

Did you know that Saudi Arabia has started to drill off-sure for oil? Did you also know that we had hit the World’s highest production peak for oil production between the years of 1970 threw 1975? Did you also know that America alone goes threw 60 million barrels of oil every day?

The really scary thing about the oil-crises, which the U.S and the world are currently facing, is that oil is in everything; it’s in the tires we drive on, and it’s in the car parts in the cars that use oil that we drive. It’s also in every plastic and paint and pesticide and fertilizer, that we use in manufacturing anything, and oil is also used in commercialized farming.

How will the world continue to exist when all the oil is gone? This crisis is so weird for me, because I remember in my earth science class; our teacher was telling us, that the world would run out of oil, and that there wasn’t any alternative for the U.S and the world to turn to.  Our best options at this time are wind energy, and solar panel energy.  The only problem with those two forms of energy, are that they have to be close to the source, and that it would take hundreds of miles of copper wire to transport that energy form; which is expensive.

There is two other options; mine for oil in Alaska, now that the ice caps have melted. Only problem with that is its supper expensive, and the ice caps are constantly moving. So that’s not a good option either. The other option was to use oil in sand, except for the fact, that we our having a fresh water shortage. It would take millions of gallons of fresh water, to take the sand out of the oil…but that wouldn’t begin to give us, the 60 million barrels of oil a day, that America needs daily. If you’re thinking well what about nuclear energy; well nuclear energy, would take a lot of resources, to construct the facilities to house the nuclear material, which makes that power…plus, it would take years to build those facilities; along with millions of dollars, to start one of those power plants up. So nuclear is not an alternative to oil either. If you’re thinking ethanol, well it would take millions of acres and a lot of natural resources, to make ethanol, and we still would get nowhere near to the 60 million barrels a day of oil, that we are blowing threw right now.

So what’s the alternative? There is none! God humanity has turned into a bunch of brain dead zombies. Yea you have a bunch of soon to be worthless money in the bank, which has no real equity backing it up. Everything is on the table for all of us all over the world…because we trusted in our industrialized age, we trusted that the oil that we depend on, would never run out; but when you but your faith in Demi God’s; guess what? Those God’s leave you at the altar, as a sacrificial lamb. We are those lambs, and we are about to be sacrificed. I believe God is a prankster, and God is still playing his games on all of us. We are the unwilling victims of a backwards society. A society that thought it could manipulate nature into accommodating 7 billion people, whom live on the face of the planet right now. The only thing that we forgot to figure into our equation, was that our natural resources, couldn’t withstand our selfish greedy ways.

So now as God is sitting back and laughing at humanity, because, there isn’t anything that we will do about what’s about to happen, until it’s too late. But by then whatever we might plan to do to save ourselves won’t matter. Here’s the thing about our situation party people; we are running out of water, oil, and pretty soon we will be running out of food, but as soon as the oil runs out, we will also be running out of money. The world will see an end to all the good will, which it’s been lucky enough to see for years. Our greed and stupidity, has driven us, to the end of our luck. We our sitting on a giant pyramid scheme; we need two things for our pyramid scheme to work. We need our profits to go up while our money goes up. There’s only one problem our profits aren’t going anywhere, and haven’t for a couple of years…so our dollar is being devalued daily, and right now it’s almost not worth the paper that it’s written on. President Bush had his reason’s to start a war in Iraq, and it wasn’t to find weapons of mass destruction. His real reasons for starting a war in Iraq was to allow the giant oil companies in the U.S. to pillage Iraq’s oil supplies. We’re not going anywhere, and we probably will be spending years in Iraq, simply to siphon off, ever last drop of oil from that country. But even though Iraq has millions of barrels of oil; there will not be enough oil for the rest of this generation.

So what will America and the rest of the world do about this horrible energy crises, that we are about to face? To me things are looking pretty bleak! I don’t know if our financial systems and energy crises can be fixed? If we don’t get a handle on the oil problem, and switch our energy source to something else, starvation on a level that the world has never seen, is about to hit humanity full force in the face. I’m not standing with the rest of the sheeple; I’m speaking out and up against what’s about to happen. I want everyone to open their eyes, and start to realize that things are going to get really ugly, if we don’t start figuring our way out of this energy mess, and financial mess, soon.
