So me and my man/roommate where hanging out, and I spoke about how lucky I was to be an American born woman.
You might be asking yourself: "Sophia why do you think that?"
Well let me wipe off this resin covered pen, my man always cleans his pipes with. Can anyone in reader island say irritating? And now you know exactly how I feel, on the pipe cleaning thing.
OK back to the subject at hand. The reason I feel lucky, is because in the Midle East, if you're unlucky enough to be a woman, who's born in that God Forsaken part of the world, with the rest of the no wearing, underarm deodorant people, you'll soon realize your in hell...
OK, so Jesus saved Marry from being stoned to death, and then told the rock throwing mob: "those who are without sin cast the first stone." I guess there's some really sinless people in the Middle East, because they sure have been casting a lot of stones over there. So because Jesus saved Marry, she was allowed live out the rest of her life.
Wow, it could have been 3000 years ago - look this isn't a history blog, so don't put me on blast over the date OK. That's some random off the top of my head sh*t.
But in the Present day Middle East, the cow herding /sheep herding crowd, of Middle Eastern rock-throwing Muslims, have brought back that style of executing people.
What's next "in the name of God" - Crucifixion? Oh wait: how about a good burning at the stake? Or a great upside down Crucifixion, or feeding people to lions? Or making them fight to death? Sounds like some over zealots bag of marbles doesn't it? WOW, doing that to some Innocent-woman, who hasen't done anything. Not like that treatment could ever be "deserved."
Look, I understand that most of the world is "civilized"; meaning not a crazed, overly zealous, religious killing mob. Whose ready to pass judgement, and the death penalty on anyone, who is what they believe to be Adulterers, fornicators, homosexuals, or just someone who won't convert to Islam, or the overly religious fanatical version of their Islam.
Hey, remember 6th grade history? When they where teaching us about the Witch Hunt's? Where these so called criminals, where brought to Justice, by being tied to a stake and set on fire.
When the reality of their situations, often times, their only real sin was being a beautiful single woman. Whom where being accused by someones overly jealous wife of being a witch. So this jelouse wife could get her imaginary competition, out of her husbands life. The jealous wife nipped that jealousy in the butt, by having her competition burned at the stake as a witch. That made so much sense didn't it? That was fair, and nice, wasn't it? That's just as fair as what's going on in the Middle East: right?
Hey, I'm just one of millions of women, but I think stoning and beheading's, for some fictitious crime, that some overly religious fanatical zealot, who can make the decision about who is allowed to live or die: totally sucks! Especially in 2011.
It's funny to me, but the very thing that Jesus sacrificed his life for, and tried to stop, has decided to revisit our life's and times. But where's our generations Messiah, to stop this insanity? Where is this generations Jesus, to save the poor faceless victims, who's only sin in life: was being born a woman or being homosexual. There needs to be a New Jesus, to save all these poor women and homosexuals, from becoming stoning victims or just murder victims...
I personally, see nothing but people whom hate women and gays in the Middle East. Jesus said it best, when he said: "those without sin, cast the first stones." There are thousands in the Middle East whom are willing to cast stones, against their sisters and brothers. All of which makes me kiss the ground I walk on, and Thank God, that I am in a religiously free society. Where I can be any type of woman, that I want to be. Without having to worry about, having a bunch of hypocrites, whom are religious fanatics: who are guilty of being uneducated, jealous or both, pass judgement and then kill me or my friends with stones for no reason.
This was my first deep thought moment.
