Greed And The American Dream!

It's me again...today's deep thought moment, is dedicated to, "GREED." Which all the stupid low-paying jobs are prescribing too. Which is keeping America and every-person whom works for these people in poverty. These GREEDY employers, consider their employee's to be trash or...disposable! All of which, is keeping America and American's DOWN! They say that America is the land of opportunity and prosperity. Well I have a question. Who is this opportunity and prosperity for? Is it for the slave-earners in this country? Slave earners usually live, with 3 or 4 families to an apartment. Who don't even make enough money, to keep themselves and their kids fed. Or...is America for all of the exploited women living here? Women whom have to beg, brother's, sister's, mother's, father's and boyfriends, to help them out every month. Because...greedy employers, won't give them a living wage. Or...simply because...their sexually exploitative job, does not want to pay them enough to survive. Is that what the American dream is all about?

Greedy people are ruining families, women, and the AMERICAN DREAM! Why? Because...these greedy S.O.B's know that, as long as they pay their taxes, no one is really going to care about America's exploited class of citizens. We are a Nation that exploits everything! We exploit peoples dreams and desires for a better life. How? We lie about being the greatest nation in the world! Your asking me how Linda? Because the only entities that are really FREE in America, are...GREEDY business owners and cooperation's C.E.O's. Greedy businesses and cooperation's are responsible for destroying peoples life's! Guess what? These greedy S.O.B's, don't care about what you or I "need" or "want"! All theses Giant-Exploitive-Monster's really care about is...their pockets, and their profit margins. They also don't care about giving you a decent wage, or...even a livable wage. Why? Because...THEY DON'T CARE IF YOU OR I EXIST! All they care about, is taking everything they can from you and me. So if you die in the gutter, before or...after dedicating your entire life, to these greedy-giants. Trust me...they don't care! They'd probably find a way to profit off your death!

OK, so I was on the bus...yes, I take it sometimes...it's easier and cheaper then paying for gas. Especially...when gas is $3 dollars per gallon. So while I was on the bus, an elderly man who was sitting in the handicapped area of the bus said, when I was walking by; "I like your jacket." At the time I was angry, because my boss...dropped the bomb...on what a greedy business I work for,is. He also told me what they have really been up to. Now at my job they had finally found a way to allow us to make tips. Or..so I thought...until I found out otherwise. OK, let me try to explain the f'd up logic behind the tip situation at my job. Which is really great for the greedy business owner that I work for. So these tips, are given out in $5 dollar increments called credits. So I get only a $1 per credit, after they have already taken $4 dollars, these greedy S.O.B's, decided to add a whopping 20%, on top of my tip-money. That's on top of the money that they had already stolen. So after 5 hours of work. I walked with only $5 dollars after asking for tips, from guys who can barely afford to tip.

Can anyone understand, my utter disappointment, and my anger about this? So I wasn't in the best of moods. Especially, when some elderly- homeless-man decided to compliment me. So I angrily told him; "I bought it at a store" and ...that, I wasn't in the best of moods, because...the job that I've been working for, for over 6 months, has just robbed me! I was feeling really sorry for myself, until...I looked over, and saw this poor homeless man, asking the bus driver, if he could stay on the bus. Because as he put it...he had no where else to go. This homeless man told the bus driver, that a lot of people had lost their homes just like he had, and that he didn't have any family or....anyone else that he could turn to for help. Then I turned away for a moment...when I looked back at that homeless man, he was whipping a tear from his eye. All of which just made me feel bad because...why did an elderly man in America, have to live on the streets? Are we or...are we not...the richest country in the world? How could the America that I live in have allowed this to happen?

We are a Nation, whom cares more about money and foreign domination, then we do about our elderly or... each other. It's really bad, when the non-English-speaking-people that are living in America. That where on that same bus and just because....they happened not to be white-Americans, were low-enough, to make fun of that same elderly man. Why? They assumed that any elderly white male, had to be a drunk, to be living on the streets. At least that's what I got from eavesdropping on their Spanish conversation. Equality! Can some one point me to it? Because...I don't think it exists these days in America. Really! I believe that we have become a greedy nation, whom only wants to destroy, it's middle class and poor. We have also become an elitist nation, of millionaires and billionaires, where the GREEDIEST amongst us, are attempting to achieve their greedy goals of world domination, off the backs of the poor and middles class! The middle class and the poor are groups of people in America...who can little afford to be used or...robed, by the wealthiest and elitists amongst us.

Am I angry? Hell ya, I'm angry! Why? Do I get to have an American dream? Just like all those greedy millionaires and billionaires, whom live off the backs, of all of their underpaid and overworked employees. America breaks the hearts and souls of it's citizens! When our Nation allows the greedy to undermined the American dream! I have a dream (yes that was taken from Martin Luther King, and he would love this post.), that all American people White, Black or...Spanish, will one day all be able to live in prosperity! Hopefully one day, ALL of the greedy business owners and C.E.O's...will learn how to share their wealth by then. Hopefully...they will be sharing with everyone in our American society, instead of stealing money off the backs, sweat, hope, and tears of their employees! With the only reason being, so they can increase their financial margin. Hopefully...they will stop their evil money hording! That's when I believe, that the American dream and real freedom may one day eventually be possible. I also believe...unless we start seeing all of our American brothers and sisters...living as well as the richest of us do. Eventually this Nation will crumple, under the weight of greed. Greed which is coming from the fewest amongst us. That's the end of this deep thought moment.
