Hope; what is it? Is it something that you or I can; touch, feel, or smell? Or is hope something more? I love "hope!" Hope to me, is like the word "change". Why? Because, as long as we have hope, just like Tom Petty sings; "the future looks wide open!" What can't you do without hope? Well for one; it would be impossible to change! No one out there in the world, could change, without hope. Why? Because, change takes courage, and without hope, you wouldn't be able to face the unknown. If there were no hope in the world, then no one, would be brave enough (sometimes, even risking their own life's), to take any life risking chances. Why? Because, no-one would have any motivation, to do anything about their problems in the world.
Lebanon is a prime example of hope and change. Has anyone ever been so disgusted, tired, beaten-down, feed-up, and sick in your heart, and soul, about how they're finding their current situations? What if this situation, that your family and yourself, were finding yourselves in, were caused by your country of origin? What would you do then? Well, if you had hope, courage, and strength, you'd probably fight, along side your brother's and sisters, to make change happen. This is exactly what's happening to the Lebanese in Lebanon. I don't know about you guys, but I for one, am jumping for joy, for the Lebanese people! Finally, the world is paying attention to their cause, by allowing a no-fly zone. Making it a fair-fighting-field, so that they wont have to worry, about any bombs dropping on their heads. From any passing fighter jets. I'm doing a little Snoopy dance for them! Why? Because their leader, Moammar Qaddafi, totally sucked! Qaddafi is a supper douche! Who deserves to be defeated, then executed by his own people. Why? Because he's a BAD-MAN! I believe, I read somewhere, that he was believed to be responsible, for the downing of jumbo-jet, and is said to be responsible, for the death's of 100's, back in the day. He's no better than the Taliban, that he is accusing of inciting the riots. Unless terrorists, have stopped, blowing up planes?
I'm laughing my ass off, every time Qaddafi says; "hey, my people love me, it's the rebels, that are responsible for this uprising, and their backed by the Taliban!" Really? Come on Qaddafi! Just admit it too yourself, that your own people, hate your "greedy-guts!" Everybody seems to forget history, and what's happened to men like Qaddafi. This B.S that's happening in Lebanon, is not the first time, some B.S like this has happened. Does anyone remember France?
Here's my story pertaining to French history: OK party people, I never thought, that I could actually, even use this bit of history in any story. But are time in history has become so unpredictable, that anythings possible. Anyway, one day, when I was doing my version, of a spiritual adventure. This was while, I was trying to get my diet pills, at my diet clinic. Now this clinic I used to go to, is located in Burbank California, and was on the same street, that this antique shop, which I tripped into, was located on. When I walked threw the door, I saw some really neat, old, crap. The antigues that really caught my eyes, were the ancient China Plates, which where locked in a case in their shop. You're like, Linda, really; "PLATES!" Hey, give me a minute, before condemning me, for this part of the story. These China Plates, where made for Marie Antoinette! They were plates made for her when she was Queen, and they had pictures, of her doing various things on them. While, I was talking to the sales person, who was giving me the history on the plates, I had a macabre thought, while looking at the plates; "did they serve her head, on one of these, after the French beheaded her?" You're probably asking yourself at this point, what the hell does Marie Antoinette, have to do with Qaddafi, and Lebanon Linda?
OK smarty pants; the French people where broke and starving, and the only "hope" they had for a better life. Was to get rid of their GREEDY King and Queen! Sound familiar yet? The greedy King and Queen of France, allowed their people, to eat bread. While they sat on their rich, pompous, asses. I'm pretty sure, that's why the King and Queen of France, were dethroned, and then beheaded. It's the same kind of scenario, that's happening in Lebanon to Qaddafi; his own people, are sick of his greedy, pompous, ass! Yes people, I know that Qaddafi isn't a King. He just lives and acts like one! Lucky for him, that the world, has outlawed the use of guillotines. Unfortunately for him, the use of swords to behead people in the Middle East, is still happening. I for one, am extremely head-over-heals-happy, that the Lebanese people, have finally gotten their torches, and pitch-forks out. To slay the monster, who calls himself Qaddafi! The Lebanese people, have finally turned on the "man-juice", and are manning-up, to kick some Qaddafi ass! Hey, that guys not fit enough mentally, to be any kind of a ruler! I'll tell you what he is fit for? Qaddafi is fit for the mad house! Hes good at not doing the right thing by stepping down. Why? His own people, don't want him in power in Lebanon. So in the end, the ending of any mad-man ruling anyone. Should be what HOPE is all about! Finally, resistance fighters, might be able to lead the way, to defeating another evil dictator, because of the no fly-zone. Hopefully soon, Qaddafi and other leaders like him, will join the list of evil dictators; that no longer exist! Now that's what real hope is all about. It's the road on which real changes are made.
Hey everybody, my prayers are going out to the victims, of the worlds latest natural disaster in Japan. Lets us hope, everyone in Japan, finds their missing loved one's. Plus, I hope that all those people, will be able to get some financial help, from the Japanese Government. So they'll be able to rebuild their lives. That's the end of this deep thought moment.
